Calvert City, KY (October 23, 2019) – During the month of November 2019, the City of Calvert City will begin pavement repairs to sections of the following roads: East 5th Ave, East 7th Ave, East 6th Ave, Hickory St, Edison Dr, and Lucille Ln.
Among the multiple paving projects underway across the city, East 5th Avenue to Hickory Street will be closed to thru traffic on Friday, October 25 from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM in preparation for repaving. Other streets will begin on Monday, October 28, weather permitting.
Calvert City encourages drivers to exercise caution in road work zones. Drivers should respect posted signs and directions from flaggers and allow for extra travel time in anticipation of delays.
