Meet the Staff
Upon arriving at City Hall, you are more than likely going to be greeted by Anna Hodge.
Anna provides excellent customer service to all whom enter Calvert City Hall. She maintains the Parks and Recreation Calendar and works closely with the Utilities Manager and City Clerk to assist as needed. Anna is also the recorder for the Cemetery Board and Parks Board.
Crystal prepares and maintains official records of the City and the Utility Commission which includes financial, payroll, accounts payable and billing. Crystal is also the recorder for the Planning Commission and Board of Adjustments.
Carrie prepares and maintains official records of the City and the Utility Commission which includes financial, accounts payable and billing. Carrie is also the recorder for the Airport Board and Utility Board.
City Clerk | Finance Officer
Calvert City’s City Clerk/Finance Officer is Glenda Adair.
The City Clerk is the office keeper of the City’s Seal and all records of the City. Working closely with the City Administrator, in keeping a balanced budget, the City Clerk also is the recorder for meetings of the City Council.
John Ward is Calvert City’s City Administrator.
The office of City Administrator coordinates efforts of various City Departments. The City Administrator functions as the City’s Zoning Administrator, Floodplain Administrator, Alcohol Beverage Control officer and Human Resource Officer.
Marketing, Communications and Business Development Director
Blair Travis is Calvert City’s Director of Marketing, Communications and Business Development.
The Director of Marketing, Communications and Business Development assists in the development and promotion of Calvert City as well as serves as an advocate for economic development by providing assistance to small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Calvert City’s Utility Manager is Roger Colburn.
The Utility Manger is head of the Water and Sewer Department for Calvert City. The Utility Department maintains 100 miles of water lines within and outside of the City limits.
Beth serves as the police department receptionist and maintains general knowledge of various office equipment. She is proficient in computer programs and services necessary for the efficient operation of the police department. She also serves as the department’s evidence technician.
Calvert city attorney
Greg Northcutt is the Calvert City Attorney.
The Calvert City Attorney attends all council meetings and commission meetings to assure groups abide by the law of the State of Kentucky and the ordinances set by the Calvert City Council.

Our Fire Chief spent 35 years in Emergency Services before starting as Fire Chief for Calvert City. The Calvert City Fire Department is very active within the city. They provide fire safety classes to students at Calvert City Elementary and participate in Halloween and Ameribration festivities promoting fire safety.
Calvert City Police chief
The Calvert City Police Department exists to serve the community. It derives its authority from the city, the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the Constitution of the United States.
